Beyond the reps and routines, great coaching is about more than just counting. Not only do they build strength but also shape habits and creating a change. Ultimately anyone can be a trainer but not everyone can be a fitness trainer. It takes real skill, knowledge and importantly the ability to connect with people and help them grow. Something Jeremy emphasized and a lesson that really stuck with me. That’s exactly what PFC Academy does best.
With that, PFC Academy is the best place to learn and grow as a fitness professional. The session was well-structured, hands-on and made even the more complex concepts easy to understand. Jayna, Jeremy, Lee Wen and Alvin weren't just trainers but are secretly knowledgeable ninjas slicing through confusions with precisions and are genuinely invested in making sure we understood everything.
3 days of a brain gains bootcamp that were packed with knowledge, practical skills, and just the right amount of “Wait… what?” moments. But it wasn’t all serious! There was plenty of laughter, inside jokes, and good vibes to balance out the heavy stuff. Who knew biomechanics and program design could be this fun? Learning felt less like a lecture and more like an adventure.
The subject matter had its dense moments (hello, science) but the practical demos and real-world examples made all the difference. The real game changer for me was the team’s empathy and personalized approach. This wasn’t just another workshop but a perspective shift. Instead of focusing on what I want to do, I'm now prioritizing what's necessary for myself in both fitness and in my approach to training others.
If you’re serious about a place that values real growth (without the fluff), I can’t recommend PFC Academy enough 🙆🏻
