Stretch Center - Assisted Stretch Therapist Certification

The Assisted Stretch Therapist Certification course is a hybrid course that combines 2-day live workshop sessions with structured online modules to provide a comprehensive education in passive assisted stretching. You’ll gain both the theoretical foundation and practical, hands-on experience needed to apply these techniques safely and effectively. Topics include anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, client evaluation, contraindications and precautions, and various assisted stretching techniques such as Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) and Active-Assisted Stretching.

By the end of the 2-day live workshop and online course, you will be able to:

• Understand the anatomy, function, physiology, and biomechanics of deep fascia, muscles, ligaments, and tendons.
• Define and differentiate the three primary assisted stretching techniques and apply them appropriately based on client needs.
• Identify contraindications and precautions to ensure safe and effective assisted stretching.
• Conduct a comprehensive client evaluation, including collecting a detailed subjective history and performing a functional movement assessment.
• Demonstrate and apply hands-on assisted stretching techniques for all relevant muscle groups with precision and effectiveness.
